The Clark Family

It was such a blast to photograph this sweet family....not only are they ALL incredibly beautiful but they are so much fun to be around. We headed down to the strip on a cold rainy day and thankfully the weather held out just enough that we could get a few pics in. I love that as we exited the car to start shooting, Caitlin, the 7 year old, said, "what is this place, the garbage dump?" It made me laugh. Every single one of the Clark girls are drop dead gorgeous and little mister at the end is completely adorable. I think you will HAVE to agree.....

Mr. Conner

Mr. Conner happened to be the lucky one to be my first MALE Senior photo shoot. I was super excited to be on location in the Strip District after meeting him. It was perfect! He was such a cool kid and definitely multi talented with skiing/ snowboarding, deck hockey and video/photography. It was fun to talk a little photo with him:) He is an amazing guy with a bright future ahead. Good Luck Conner. I wish you the best and hope you have an amazing year!

Miss Louise

I loved spending time with this little miss. Being the mother of three boys, let's just say there is not much "girl" around my house. So I absolutely LOVE when I get the opportunity to shoot a little girl. Miss Louise was so precious. She seriously went right to sleep and stayed that way until we were finished. I think you will agree that she is completely perfect.

The Hatch Family

This post has been a long time coming. The Hatch family and I were able to meet up to shoot their "Pittsburgh" pics before they headed out into a new phase and adventure of life. And thankfully, the sun was shining. Pittsburgh must love them:) I had such a great time with them. I absolutely love these twins. They were so fun to shoot and were completely happy and content. I can't wait to see them as they grow older. Love this family. We will miss you......

Joey + Kellie

I had the greatest time shooting Kellie and Joey's wedding.....a beautiful ceremony and a fun party afterward. Kellie was amazing through all of it. She was the most laid back, easy going, genuinely nice bride in the world. Joey wasn't too bad either:) Congratulations guys! Thanks to my second shooter Maretta who helped me out.

I loved everything about this beautiful sweet girl...her cute little lips to her concerned eyebrows. It seems she let us know even when she was asleep that she was questioning what was happening to her. She put up a little fight at first, but it was well worth the wait. She is completely precious.

This sweet boy came to me when only 6 days old. I am always blown away by how small these little ones are when they arrive. He makes my little man look like a giant:) Nolan was absolutely wonderful and was completely content with me molding him into all sorts of crazy poses and positions. He was an absolute gem plus I was able to meet his sweet family. Thank you for allowing me to capture this handsome little man!

Remember how I said I was actually going to keep on top of the whole posting/blogging thing.....yeah not exactly happening. I have been shooting like crazy and processing even more, just not quite making it to posting yet. But I will get there. I keep telling myself "a little everyday". Here we have the Hughes family. Good friends and great people. Love their kids- and don't worry that McKenzie is mini- she may look small but she can pick up Hudson and walk around with no problem:)

This may very well have been my easiest shoot in all my years of photography. I forget how nice it is to have a family who has children old enough to actually listen when you say to "look at me and hold still". It was so fun to spend an hour with the Gunn family. I love everything about them and their girls.......and of course, Mr. Max. They are all absolutely beautiful both inside and out. I am sure you will agree.

So beautiful. There were so many things I LOVED about this wedding. I was there shooting after the ceremony and into the reception and I have to tell you everything was so perfectly put together down to every tiny detail. I can't tell you how much it is killing me right now to post these pics. First of all, this family over the past two years have become some of the greatest friends we have ever met. We have LOVED sharing our lives together and they really are family to me. I am so grateful for their friendship and everything they have taught me, not to mention the fact that Brooke is a second mother to my boys. And now they are gone. If feels like a chapter of my life is closed and changed, but I am thankful for the altering affect they have had on me and my little family. I know they will be successful and that we will keep in touch wherever life takes them, but the selfish part of me wants them here by us forever. It breaks my heart every time my second little man comes in and sees little Zoe on the screen. His face lights up and begins chanting "THHOOWEEEE" over and over again. And Hudson is already planning to move by them when we are finished here. Needless to say, we ALL miss you. We love you and look forward to seeing you soon in the Burgh:)

So many babies. It seems like all of our friends out here caught the vibe and got pregnant all at the same time. I think there has been a baby born every single month for about 6 months now, including my own. Time has flown by. Little Quinn is just that: the beautiful baby of another friend. Her first and a boy. Obviously I am partial to little men, given I have three of my own, but this little man was a gem. He was a sleeper and just let me move, twist and compose him into a plethora of different shapes. I love that. And he was so beautiful or handsome I should say. I kept telling his mom that you really don't find a face this cute very often. I think you will agree.......

is what we call him. That or Whootie (thank you Tate). He arrived exactly 18 months from the birth of his older brother....a little close, but absolutely perfect. It is amazing how much I stressed as I found out that I was pregnant. Not only was he a bit of a surprise, but the THIRD child. Somehow my mind could not wrap around the fact that I was going to be a mother of three and three boys nonetheless. It was nine months of a roller coaster of emotions....excitement, happiness, stress, worry but the instant he was put in my arms, I knew it was all worth it....everything we had experienced and everything we would experience together. I couldn't help but love every ounce of him.

Over the Christmas Break I had the opportunity to visit my family back west. My brother and his wife had just experienced the arrival of sweet Millie and I was finally able to meet her for the first time. She is absolutely beautiful! She did not want anything to do with sleeping, but it was fine. She completely cooperated and was wonderful. We love our newest addition!

Finally the arrival of this little boy into his family. We have been waiting a long time for him as has his two beautiful sisters. He was born two days before Christmas and came home Christmas Eve. I think they pretty much thought that was the best present they could have received. I can't say enough about this family. They are the greatest friends I could ever ask for. I have taken so many pictures of them together, individually and now with the addition of Asher and I can't help but love them like they were my own kids. And seriously, could he be any more beautiful??

The Boys

So most photo shoots go pretty easy. I am one that keeps a pretty level head and doesn't get caught up in the fact that the children are not cooperating. I often think after leaving a shoot that it would have been so much easier if the parents were not there. They are usually the ones freaking out at their kids are not looking....not smiling....not happy- which makes me laugh because regardless of how bad they are, I usually get some decent shots. Well, this specific shoot was a little bit different. Not only was I the photographer, but I was also the mother. Needless to say, it was a nightmare. I was so frustrated by the end that I thought I would NEVER do it again- I thought there was no way I even took one good picture....apparently it IS different when it is your child. But of course, like every other shoot, I did get some pictures that I LOVED. There is nothing more precious than to have a picture that completely depicts your child at that age....which ultimately was the driving force in pursuing photography for me. I love so many things about these boys that I could go on for hours, but more than anything, I LOVE that they love each other. I couldn't ask for anything more as a mother.

For Kenna's third birthday, her mother, which happens to be a good friend of mine, wanted to send out a picture as her invitation to her party. We went with the theme of balloons and found a beautiful field near my house. Kenna and I spent an hour together and she was absolutely wonderful. I loved how the pictures turned out. They truly capture this little girl and her sweet personality. There are so many things to love with this little girl but most of all, I LOVE that her and my little Hudson are best friends. Happy Birthday, Kenna!
